SEATTLE, WA — March 7, 2025 — NorthernSky Partners, LLC (the "Company"), a discrete decelopment stage private equity firm today announced it retained Mr. Waqar Zaidi to work with us as our Managing Director – Nuclear Technologies. Mr. Zaidi brings over 30 years of business development experience in the nuclear energy and technology field and most recently was the Chief Commercial Officer for Ultrasafe Nuclear Corporation (“USNC”). Previously to working at USNC, he worked at VCI, M&A Advisor, Enbridge, Babcock & Wilcox and AMEC.

Waqar has led international teams and accelerated global market adoption with multinationals, such as Enbridge, Babcock & Wilcox & AMEC, and worked with technical founders in early-stage firms. Waqar has held c-suite roles as EVP, co-founder, COO, and CEO. Waqar has an academic degree in Engineering and Business from McGill, Concordia, and UC Berkeley, which complements his experience. Waqar also served honorably in the Canadian Arm Forces.
